Bees for Sale

Tiger Tail Farms sells NUCs (Nucleus Hives) and full hives of producing bees. We DO NOT currently sell packages of bees.

A NUC of bees includes five deep frames of:

• Bees

• Laying Queen Bee

• Five full frames of brood in various stages

• Honey/pollen frames for support

Our goal is typically three-four frames of active bees and brood, with 1-2 frames in support with honey/pollen. We DO NOT sell NUCs with empty frames of wax foundation or even empty drawn comb, but we desire to have the 5 full frames ready to move into your own 8/10 frame hive upon pick-up/delivery of your NUC.

2019 NUC Sales

The cost for NUCs in 2019 is $185.

A non-refundable deposit of $100 per NUC must be paid to Tiger Tail Farms.
